Treemuncher, ASV have come along way since those days.Even the RC100 that I started out with can't be compaired against the newer models. That said they are still not perfect. I recently rented a PT 110 with 230hrs on the clock using my own rejiged mulcher and it's performance wasn't to far the 140 when it worked but what a POS and pretty much an unsaleable machine. The same outfit has offered to rent me a new RT120 so hence the questions.PS The 110 is the only machine I have operated to have a fire in the engine bay. All because of the Teir 4 engine.
ASV Posi-Track compact track loaders (also known as tracked skid steers) for sale by ASV Sales & Service come in six size classes, plus a special Heavy-Duty configuration on the RT-75 and a Forestry configuration on the RT-120.
Tony,Have you looked at the Ahwi RT200? I don't like the blind back end (absolutely NO rear visibility) but I was seriously considering looking at one of these to replace my FTX140. I came across a much better deal on a Lamtrac 8300 so I ran in the larger direction instead to fill a niche that I did not have covered.I still have that 200 in mind when I do retire my 140. I will never go smaller than my 140 but I will consider a larger machine that can still maneuver as well. Mate, if I was a little younger I wouldn't have second thoughts about getting a RT200 but I'm not to far off 70 so I may die before it's paid for.
My wife is at times hard enough to live with but turning her into a real cranky widow is not an option.
